The Colorado Rockies were hosting the San Diego Padres this past Sunday at Coors Field. By all accounts, it was a normal baseball game until half way through the fifth inning, when Mother Nature took over. The inclement weather delayed the game for almost an hour and a half, with the Rockies leading 3-0.
When the skies cleared up, players made their way back on to the field to get loose again. Padres shortstop Erick Aybar was getting ready to throw, when he spotted some young baseball fans in the first few rows behind the Padres. While waiting for his throwing partner on the field, he decided to find some new ones off the field.

Aybar threw with about a dozen kids in the stands for a few minutes before play resumed, and made some fans for life in the process. The gesture must have inspired his teammates, as the Padres would come back to win the game 4-3.
