Everyone knows the Little League World Series that is currently taking place in Williamsport, PA. But the Junior Little League World Series is also going on in Taylor, Michigan. The Junior Little League World Series is for 12-15 year olds, the age group just above the typical Little League.

In a game between Chinese Taipei and Pennsylvania, a Chinese Taipei player hit a drive to deep center field. Pennsylvania center fielder Jack Regenye was on the prowl, getting a great read on the ball and making an incredible catch.

Sorry Austin Jackson, this catch takes the cake as the best so far this year. Regenye went full extension and completely cleared the wall. For a young kid to make this play, full concentration and completely disregarding his body, shows a lot of heart. You just can’t teach that.

The catch was initially ruled a home run, but after a little conversation, was reversed to an out. Imagine seeing a Major Leaguer jumping over a fence and making a grab like this? It’s just something you don’t see everyday. Bravo Jack Regenye, bravo.
