Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles captured their first Super Bowl championship, defeating the New England Patriots 41-33. Noted Eagles fan and Los Angeles Angels, or California Angles according to Al Michaels, centerfielder Mike Trout was on hand to witness it.
Growing up in New Jersey, Mike Trout became a fan of the Eagles from a young age, and his loyalty has been well documented through twitter. So when the Eagles advanced to the Super Bowl, Trout made sure he was on hand.
Throughout the game, Trout gave some updates as to how the game was going. Trout might have found a new favorite player in Zach Ertz, the Eagles tight end.

As victory approached, Trout grew more and more excited. When Ertz scored the eventual game winning touchdown late in the fourth, Trout was caught celebrating.
Will the Eagles victory help motivate Trout to take the Angels to the World Series? His team certainly thinks so.
