On January 20th, Baseball Lifestyle 101 hosted the 2020 MLK Homerun Derby at Superior Athletics in Farmingdale, New York. The event was a great success and couldn't have been possible without the support of our partner, Hittrax.
Throughout the course of the evening, 16 participants faced off in groups of two for a one minute and 30 second time slot. As the bracket narrowed, competition got close as Mallon and Shapiro went head to head for the championship slot against McCann.
McCann ultimately took the title of champion after defeating Baseball Lifestyle 101 founder & CEO Josh Shapiro with 16 homeruns to Shapiro's 15.
