Baseball Lifestyle 101 announced today the launch of a new giveback initiative in partnership with Pitch in for Baseball & Softball. Starting today and running through February, 29th 2020, Baseball Lifestyle 101 will be collecting new and used baseball gear from around the country for Pitch in for Baseball & Softball.
Baseball Lifestyle 101 will spend the next week tapping into its network of baseball players at all levels of play to collect gear and promote Pitch in for Baseball & Softball through the creation of unique and custom content online.
“I have been looking for a giveback partner for a long time and PIFBS is the perfect partner for us,” said Josh Shapiro CEO at Baseball Lifestyle 101. “I’m really looking forward to seeing what we can do to help expand the game we love to underserved communities around the world.”
This represents the first time Baseball Lifestyle 101 has partnered with a non-profit organization for the purpose of giving back to the game of baseball. As a thank you, to fans, anyone who donates gear will receive a limited edition Baseball Lifestyle 101 hat.

Hey baseball 101. I am a 14 year old baseball player from Long Island. What I was wondering is if you had any opportunities for me to model for you guys. That would be my dream to see it happen. Thanks a lot
Dear Friends of Hazel Dell Little League:
Hazel Dell Little League is a non-profit youth baseball organization, with this year’s enrollment expected to top 200+ boys and girls. For decades, our program has successfully taught good sportsmanship, team work, and honesty. Through these teachings, Hazel Dell Little League has been able to participate in regional and state championships and we were even able to send our players to the Little League World Series in 2000!
Hazel Dell Little League is proud to accept all children who wish to play baseball. No child is turned away due to insufficient funds. Through our scholarship program, Hazel Dell Little League is able to award scholarships to families in financial need. In order to continue our scholarship program and make needed repairs to our park, we need your assistance.
Hazel Dell Little League relies solely on hard-working volunteers and generous donations from businesses and people such as yourself. Park and field maintenance, repairs, and any improvements needed will be paid for with the money raised and directly applied from this auction.
On Saturday, May 11th, Hazel Dell Little League will host our annual live and silent auction at RV inn Style Resorts Convention Center, as we celebrate being a part of the community since 1956 and teaching boys and girls how to play ball. With your help, we will be able to raise funds to continue our scholarship program and continue the maintenance and improvements to our park that is required. Our goal is to raise $50,000.
We humbly ask for your generous support by making a tax-deductible donation to our live and silent auction. Hazel Dell Little League is a 501© (3) organization and our federal tax ID number is 91-1506224. Any gift or service, whether large or small, is greatly appreciated. Along with your donation, your name and/or business name will receive recognition in our auction program.
Please help Hazel Dell Little League continue to provide this wonderful program for our youth. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your support of Hazel Dell Little League. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at (503) 869-5145 (Karen) or (503) 869-8407 (Jessica) or by email at auction@hdll.org
