Baseball Lifestyle 101’s roster of featured athletes possesses some of the premier talent in the high school baseball circuit. Landon Green, a right-handed pitcher from Calvary High School in Clearwater, FL., is officially the newest member of the BL101 team.

“Special arm talent and already up to 96 mph; big running life through the zone & sharp 12-6 breaker,” according to Perfect Game. Green is a can’t miss 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect with a perfect 10 on Perfect Game’s grading scale, and the 10th-ranked right-handed pitcher in the class of 2027.

He brings his calm demeanor out to the mound and attacks hitters with his overpowering arsenal, and as he continues his path towards the big leagues, the potential for Green is to be a game-changing arm for years to come. His three-pitch arsenal, consisting of a mid-90s fastball, a sharp curveball, and a changeup that sits in the low-80s, helps keep hitters off balance and makes for a dangerous combination for opposing hitters, making for an uncomfortable at-bat.

Green’s track record of dominating in some of the biggest tournaments nationwide has helped him reach his status as a top prospect whose name will certainly be called when it comes time for the 2027 MLB Draft.

Green now adds to the roster of BL101 featured athletes alongside his former USA Prime teammates, Dexter McCleon Jr. and Jordin Griffin. His status as a premier pitcher has been well-known throughout his journey to the highest levels of competition in amateur baseball since 2022, when he was named a 13u Perfect Game Select Festival Player.

Green recently traveled to New York to meet up with the BL101 team, where he did his introductory video, saw the sights in New York City for the first time, and got exclusive access to both Yankee Stadium and Citi Field, where he, his brother, and his father got the chance to visit the respective stadiums for the first time.

Upon entry to Yankee Stadium, Green said the building was unlike any stadium he’d ever seen in terms of the history and the atmosphere. He got the chance to watch Jazz Chisholm, whom he told BL101 during his interview was one of his favorite MLB players due to his style on and off the field. Green also had the opportunity to play under him as a coach at the Baseball Generations All-Star Game, and told BL101 his advice to him was to “throw strikes and have fun.”

He and his family got to walk around and take in the whole experience of a typical Yankees game, trying some of the stadium’s famous foods like the 99 Burger. The Yankees gave Green an incredible experience with six home runs hit and a dominant 11-2 win over the Washington Nationals.

At Citi Field, Green was treated to exclusive access with on-field batting practice passes and seats right behind home plate to watch a 6-0 Mets win, led by a dominant performance from rookie sensation Nolan McLean.

During the game, Green and his family had the chance to meet Gary Vaynerchuk, also known as Gary V, who stopped and gave him advice for his journey towards professional baseball. Vaynerchuk praised his focus and energy towards baseball and life, and told him his hard work and strength will set him up for lasting success in the future.

BL101 is thrilled to have Green join the team and be a part of his success and journey to the highest ranks the game has to offer. Green’s aspirations for himself will certainly help him reach his goals, whether that be his remaining time as a high school player, collegiate athlete, or as a professional player when that opportunity arises.

His role within BL101 will only expand as he gains more recognition and experience in the baseball world, and we are excited to help him grow as a person and as an athlete in any way possible.
